Patricia Ann Chapin, 76, passed away on May 11, 2017. She was born in Cleveland on July 19, 1940, to the late John and Henrietta (Rushke) Patterson. Patricia worked at Shangri La Nursing Home for 18 years and then started her own cleaning business. She also worked as a dog groomer; she loved dogs, especially Yorkies. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church since 1972. She was involved in the senior club, the bereavement group, St. Vincent DePaul Society and renewal. Patricia enjoyed flowers, dragonflies, traveling and dogs. She loved her family dearly.

Patricia is survived by her husband, Lawrence Chapin; children, Tracy A. Chapin, Lawrence K. (Angela) Chapin; granddaughters, Shelby Chapin and Chloe S. Chapin; siblings, Darlyss (Mike) McCormick, Dennis Bensley, Marie (Frank) Sunquist, Ken Patterson and Michael Patterson.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Georgia Daso; and her brother, John “Bob” Patterson.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Patricia’s memory to Hospice of Medina Co., 5075 Windfall Road, Medina 44256 and/or the St. Vincent DePaul Society at St. Francis, 606 E. Washington St., Medina, OH 44256.
