AKRON – The University of Akron, College of Health Professions, School of Nursing, Learning Resource Center provides Barberton High School Advancement to Nursing students with two simulation experiences each school year. This allows students to apply the skills they learn in the high school lab to a simulated environment and gain new learning experiences. In addition, this experience contributes to the college credits student can acquire from the university for participating in the high school program.
