When buying or selling a home, you want the person representing you to have knowledge and experience in the marketplace. The WCS Real Estate Group’s professionals bring that expertise to each and every client in and around Medina County.
You might say that real estate is in Lori Wallace’s DNA. Her mother and mother-in-law are both in the business with over 14 years of experience. Lori feels there is power teaming up with top Relators.
Wallace, who has been in real estate since 2004, approaches the job with the heart of a teacher, which happens to be her former career.
“Having that background I am very patient and understanding. I stand by a client’s side until the transaction is completely handled,” she said. “They need our knowledge and support as we guide them through the next steps. In today’s market it’s so important to use an agent.”
There are a number of factors that go into pricing a home. Condition, upgrades and current market status all goes into determining a range.
“Once we do our analysis, we give the seller a price range of where we feel comfortable listing,” Wallace said.
Wallace and her realty team of Jaime Cindia and Tracy Soika are certified in home staging. The goal of staging is to make a home appealing to the highest number of potential buyers.
“People need to visualize the space instead of things in the space,” Soika said.
Team members are certified relocation specialists working with clients who are relocating to or from the state of Ohio.
They are also Homes of Distinction certified for high-end properties.
Another designation for Wallace is SRES (Seniors Real Estate Specialist). Realtors are qualified to address the needs of home buyers and sellers age 50 and older.
“They are in transition and leaving a home they’ve been in for 30 or 40 years. It’s very emotional,” Wallace said.
Technology has changed the way houses are marketed and continues to evolve. Wallace is e-biz certified, a knowledge base that helps push the listing in cyberspace.
“The search begins online. Clients are using other sites and gathering information even before they come to us,” Wallace said.
An educated buyer also lessens the time a house will sell.
“Before you might be looking at 10 homes on a Sunday versus now being able to look at 15 homes online and weeding some out immediately,” Wallace said.
Communication may occur at any time. Wallace, Cindia and Soika are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
“A home is one of the biggest investments in life. It’s about treating people the way you would want to be treated if you were making that big investment,” Cindia said.
