To the Editor:

My husband Bob and I had the privilege of being at the Birthing Center at Medina Hospital when our two great-granddaughters were born. Madison Nicole Baisden was born Dec. 17, 2015 and Calista Marie Carr was born Oct. 4, 2016. We felt really blessed to be a part of these miracles!

This birthing facility is a gift to all of Medina County. If there are ways to improve it, great, but please don’t take it away!

I realize that Cleveland Clinic of Cleveland does not have the small town feelings that we have. We love the closeness of our community and pray that it can stay this way!
