We should ask our young people for constructive input
letter to the editor
To the Editor:

On June 24, the following question was asked (in Street Talk) of our youth: "If you had the power to do so, what state would you eliminate?" I'd like to ask the staff of The Post what useful purpose that question serves? Okay, maybe this was taken out of context, but if so, it was printed out of context.

Given the problems the world and our country is experiencing, we should be asking our young people for positive and constructive input, maybe along the lines of: "If you could make one change to improve life for your country/community, what would that be?" Let's lift these young people up, not further drag them into the gutter.
