Congrats to the boys soccer team and coach Spelling

To the Editor:
Congratulations to the Medina boys soccer team and coach Simon Spelling! For the first time ever they made the state semifinals and had two players named to the All-Ohio team in the same year. Also, congratulations to Medina resident Stephen Milhoan, playing for eventual state champion St. Ignatius, who was named the Division I soccer player of the year for the second consecutive year.
Now, imagine if Medina High School was not out two starters due to injury for their game against St. Ignatius. Also, consider that video confirmed the absolutely terrible non-foul which awarded a penalty kick against us in sudden death overtime resulting in our loss. Given these facts, it's not too difficult to imagine that the team representing 44256 was truly the best in the state and the nation. Go Bees!
