James Bismark DiPolito
James Bismark DiPolito, 67, of Wadsworth, passed away Jan. 23 at Barberton Hospital after a period of declining health.
He was born July 5, 1949 to Charles and Maxine (Tackett) DiPolito. James was a 1966 graduate of Wadsworth High School, and a 1971 graduate of Miami University of Oxford. He was known to many in this area as “Jimmy D," a wonderful car salesman who truly loved his customers.
James is survived by his wife Cynthia, whom he married in February of 2016; stepsons Nickolas and Mitchell Van Dyne; brother, Samuel (June) and their daughters Gina and Samantha; the sister-in-law Nancy, and her daughter Nancy Ann of Statesboro, Ga.; and dear longtime friend Jane Startzman of Akron.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Charles; infant sister Portia Ann; and beloved dog Louie.
Per Jimmy’s request, cremation has taken place. Private family services will be held at a later date.
Auble-Gillman Funeral Home in Rittman is assisting the family.
