Strongsville director of special education arrested for drunk driving
Andy Trujillo, of Wadsworth, found passed out behind wheel of vehicle
STRONGSVILLE – Andy Trujillo, director of special education with the Strongsville City School District, was cited and arrested for drunk driving after a Medina County sheriff’s deputy allegedly discovered him passed out behind the wheel of a 2015 Jeep at Fixler and Ridge roads at 11:16 p.m. on Dec. 2, 2016.

Field sobriety tests were administered to Trujillo, a Wadsworth resident. His BAC registered .17, more than than twice the legal limit.

“We are aware of the incident and it fell outside of work hours. We don’t have a further comment at this time,” said district spokesperson Dan Foust.

Prior to being named Special Education Director in 2015, Trujillo, 48, was principal at Zellers Elementary School and Chapman Elementary School.

Trujillo’s court date is set for Feb. 2 at Wadsworth City Hall.
