The Highland Speech and Debate Team competed at the Copley tournament on Nov. 19 and finished second out of 27 teams. Congratulations to the following team members who placed at the tournament: Cecilia and Amelia Mainzer, sixth in duo interpretation; Andy Mockbee and Brock Withers, third in duo interpretation; Andras Fabian, fourth in humorous interpretation; Victoria Grayson, fourth in informative speaking; Samantha Zeiger, second in Lincoln Douglas debate; Braden Webb, first in Lincoln Douglas debate; Noah Zona and Austin Levan, fourth in public forum debate; Emily Knoer, sixth in program of oratorical interp.; Abby Catron, first in program of oratorical interp.; and Nick McFadden, sixth in student congress.
