Music in the Circle schedule set

SHARON – The popular free summer concert series, Music in the Circle, will return to Sharon Circle Park for its seventh season May 31 at 7 p.m.

The program will feature the Mo’Mojo –Zydeco band, described as “a hard driving, high energy, Zydeco-based “Party-Gras” band,” featuring three-part harmonies, accordion, fiddle, guitar, rubboard, sax, trumpet, harp, bass, percussion and drums. Sharon Township Firefighters’ Association will provide refreshments for a donation. The proceeds will go to the restoration fund for the “Last Alarm” fire truck, which is well on its way to completion.

The concert series, sponsored by the Sharon Trustees, the Hiller Foundation and the Sharon Community Trusts, promises to bring to Sharon Circle some of the best music in Ohio – and beyond. All concerts will begin at 7 p.m. and will last until 8:30 p.m. Organizer Jane Back suggested bringing a blanket or lawn chair. In case of inclement weather, the program will move to the town hall.
