A service of remembrance for Laura Levis, who was an editor and writer for the Harvard Gazette and Harvard Magazine, will be held at 12:30 p.m. Jan. 29 in the Somerville Theatre in Davis Square in Somerville.

Ms. Levis, who was 34, died Sept. 22 after a severe asthma attack. Her life story drew national attention after her husband, Peter DeMarco, published a tribute in The New York Times.
