William G., Dangelo, 74, of Valley City, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, Saturday, July 15, 2017.

Bill was born Jan. 12, 1943 in Lodi to the late William L. and Ruby (nee Funk) Dangelo. He has been a lifelong resident of Medina County.

Bill was an Army veteran, serving three years. He was a member of the Valley City VFW Post 5563.

He had worked at Larson Foundry in Grafton for four years prior to his employment with General Motors in Brook Park for 38 years.

Bill enjoyed motorcycles, fishing, hunting and was noted for his beautiful vegetable garden. He loved to visit casinos and dabble in the stock market.

Bill’s greatest joy was his family.

He will be greatly missed by his wife, Della (nee Ingram), married 51 years; children, Angelia (Alex) Nadiak, Anthony (Carrie) and Joseph (Bailey); and grandchildren, Samantha, Matthew, Nicholas and Ellis.

Bill was the brother of Rocky and Bernie Dangelo, Sharon Archer and Beverly Dobson and an uncle to many.

He was preceded in death by his brother Larry and sister Vicki Dangelo.

He was buried in Myrtle Hill Cemetery, Valley City.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be made to the Valley City VFW Post 5563 or to the Emmanuel United Church of Christ.
