The Classics finished up their fall season over the weekend posting a 19-0-1 record while allowing just 14 goals and none in its last 10 games. The girls were crowned champions of the following this fall: Cusa Mead Cup, Dayton; Ohio Travel Cup, Cleveland; Club Ohio Cup, Columbus; and OHTSL division 1 champions. The team now hopes to get accepted into some of the nation’s premier tournaments – the Jefferson Cup in Richmond. and the FC Delco Players Cup in Philadelphia. Players include Kylie Casal, Nathalie Deidu, Elle Munro, Vivian Kelps, Rebecca Sierra, Larissa Eaton, Leah Sielski, Clair Kocar, Cara Petry, Katie Malbin and Mackenzie Thomas. The team is coached by Eduardo Sierra and trained by Medina girls assistant coach Brad Wojnarowsky and Medina girls players Marin Auth and Lily Menssen.
