Delno L. Shamp, 91, passed away Feb. 1, 2017.
He was the beloved husband of Beverly (nee Berkey) for 63 years; devoted father of Shelley Dodge (Don), Shannan Reznik (Al) and Tracey Damian; dear brother of Martha Whittier and preceded in death by seven siblings; loving grandfather of Bobby Carpenter, Dawn Yatsko, Mark Carpenter, Shyan Csatlos, James Damian and Chad Damian; great-grandfather of nine and great-great-grandfather of one.
Dell was a proud WWII Navy veteran and lifetime member of the VFW. Del spent his entire career supporting his family working at Westpark Excavators. He enjoyed golfing and hunting, as well as being a lifetime member of Columbia Game Club.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Compassus Hospice, 837 Crocker Road, Westlake, OH 44145.
