GREEN – The Crystal Clinic Orthopaedic Center announces that QuickCare, its rapid care facility which serves those with orthopaedic injuries and chronic musculo-skeletal injuries, now offers extended hours at both its locations in Montrose at 3975 Embassy Parkway, suite 003, in Akron and 1622 East Turkeyfoot Lake Road, suite 201, in Green. The rapid care facility is now open 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 8 a.m.–2 p.m. Saturdays.
QuickCare sees patients ages five and older who have acute, orthopaedic injuries or are suffering from chronic conditions such as tendinitis, arthritis, tennis elbow and lower back pain. Appointments are not necessary and walk-ins are welcome.
Crystal Clinic QuickCare treats the full range of orthopaedic and sports medicine injuries with specialty-trained providers who focus only on orthopaedics. Due to that specialization, QuickCare offers shorter wait times than an emergency room or urgent care facility. Additionally, treatment at QuickCare is typically less expensive than an urgent care center or emergency room as the fee for care is billed at a specialist office visit copay.
On-site services at QuickCare include X-rays, suturing for minor lacerations, splinting, casting and durable medical equipment like braces and boots. Due to its affiliation with Crystal Clinic, QuickCare can arrange for follow-up appointments and other services at either the main Crystal Clinic Orthopaedic Center campus or one of its satellite offices in Medina, Portage and Summit Counties. Patients can schedule physical therapy sessions, advanced imaging appointments for MRI and CAT scans, or schedule cortisone injections at many of those locations.
