Keith Edward Whynott, 52, passed away Jan. 28, 2017. He was born in New London, Conn., on March 6, 1964, to David and Alice (Babcock) Whynott.

Keith served in the U.S. Army and overseas. Keith was family oriented, devoted to his children and grandchildren. He always put others’ needs before his own. He was passionate about Ford motorsports, animals, especially horses, and guns. His patriotism showed through his continued display of the American flag. Although he was an accomplished tradesman, with an extraordinary work ethic, he was still a child at heart and made time to cook, play and spend time with his family. We will all miss him.

Keith is survived by his children, Jaclyn (Nicholas) Dalziel, Alexander Whynott and Dakota (Ross) Romine; grandchildren, Estella and Zander Romine and Elora Dalziel; mother, Alice Whynott; brothers, Kenneth (Beth) Whynott and Kevin (Laurel) Whynott; sisters, Karen (Eric) McNairl and Kathleen Rooney; and his ex-wife, Elaine Whynott Bertram.

He was preceded in death by his father, David Whynott.
