WADSWORTH – A former Wadsworth High School teacher was indicted on felony charges following an investigation that began late last year.
Ben Klafczynski, 28, was released from the Medina County Jail on a $10,000 bond April 14 following an arraignment at the Medina County Court of Common Pleas. A grand jury issued an indictment against Klafczynski April 4 for tampering with evidence, a third degree felony.
“The case involving Ben Klafczynski originated in early December when we were informed by the Wadsworth City Schools about an allegation of improper conduct between Ben Klafczynski and one or more students,” Lt. Dave Dorland said.
Dorland said the investigation is ongoing and any additional charges are up to the Medina County Prosecutor.
Klafczynski was a marketing teacher at Wadsworth High School and a golf coach. He resigned in January.
