Jan. 30 – Police responded to a report of fraud at a Patriots Way address. A Social Security number was reportedly used to open a Meijer grocery store credit card. A juvenile was charged with identity fraud, a felony.

Jan. 31 – Engine parts were reported stolen from a West Liberty Street business at 9:44 a.m.
Jan. 29 – A Highland Drive woman was cited for a noise ordinance at 11:32 p.m.
Jan. 29 – Police responded to a disturbance at an Abbeyville Road address and arrested Shawna M. Bibb, 25, of the address, for disorderly conduct, obstruction and criminal damaging.
Jan. 29 – Police responded to a Lafayette Road address due to a physical altercation between several subjects. Danica L. Heidler, 36, of West Friendship Street, and Zachary A. Butcher, 31, of Oak Street, were arrested for disorderly conduct. Additionally, Heidler was charged with domestic violence.
Jan. 28 – Eric J. Foster, 24, of Lodi, was arrested on a felony warrant out of Medina.
Jan. 26 – Police took a report for vandalism after the lawn at Ken Cleveland Park on Sturbridge Drive was turfed.
Jan. 25 – Police responded to a Spruce Street address after an intoxicated man reportedly drove into a utility pole.
Jan. 23 – A 36-year-old Chippewa Lake man was arrested for stealing magazines and DVDs from the library at 1:40 p.m.
Jan. 22 – A juvenile was arrested for burglary after a shotgun was reported stolen from a Lafayette Road residence at 11:02 a.m.
Montville Township Police
Jan. 14 – A caller wanted to turn in a found license plate. Police took possession of the plate and attempted to return it to the last-known registered owner on Maplewood Farms Drive.
Jan. 14 – A Country Club Drive resident reported needing an officer to stand by to document Paypal needing to refund money for a fraudulent purchase. Police made two attempts at the house to speak with the owner about the Paypal situation, but there was no answer at the door even though two cars were in the drive way.
Jan. 14 – A 19-year-old caller called 911 multiple times to talk about shootings, political welfare, shooting pencils in a box, cotton candy machines and recruiting offices. He reportedly made several remarks about a pistol and using it to shoot something. Montville police, the Medina County sheriff’s office and Seville police spoke to the father of the caller was able to detain the caller after he reportedly made a remark about putting an officer’s gun in his face. He was transported to Medina Hospital for evaluation.
Jan. 13 – Police advised the manager of two solicitors on Normandy Park Drive they could not go door to door without a permit.
Jan. 13 – A man who was released from jail was found hitchhiking on Wadsworth and Tower roads. Police gave him a ride to Wadsworth City limits.
Jan. 12 – A Trails End Drive homeowner saw a person in the back yard wearing a black jacket with a hood. The subject was last seen walking west. Police walked the area and checked local houses but were unable to locate the subject.
