FARGO — Streetlights throughout downtown Fargo are showcasing new artwork.

Thirty artworks by 23 students from the North Dakota State University School of Design, Art and Architecture are being featured in the 2026 Street Light Gallery in downtown Fargo. The pieces were selected from the 2026 Annual Student Juried Show at the Memorial Union Gallery.

The SODAA Street Light Gallery adorns lampposts along Broadway from Seventh Avenue North to Main Avenue and along Eighth Street from Main Avenue to First Street South.

This is the third year of the collaboration among the Downtown Fargo Business Improvement District, the Downtown Community Partnership and NDSU.

NDSU staff member Carlos Robyal partners each year with the BID and DCP to select and design the banners, which remain on display throughout the year.

“Downtown should be a place where our community’s creativity is on display,” said Rocky Schneider, executive director of the DCP. “The Street Light Gallery gives NDSU students a unique public canvas while making downtown Fargo more interesting, colorful and connected to our
university community.”

Among the featured works is “Weenie,” a piece by artist Anna Christensen that displays the alphabet and digits rendered as illustrations of dachshunds — commonly referred to as wiener dogs.

Other artists featured in this year’s selection include Elisha Antoine, Tessa Becker, Thomas Christnagel, Cohl Devries, Kaitlyn Evjen, Shiann Fiest, Kendra Green, Jane Gudmundson, Claire Gullacher, Sheridan Hagen, Josie Javers, Evan Liewer, Dionna Martel, Ivy Mastrud, Alicia McIntyre, Mackenzie Melquist, Pauline Arabella Pearson, Crystal Rounsville, Charlie Smart, Maren Strawsell, Gianna Vecellio and Emily Yoder.
