THE Fiji Labour Party yesterday laid its platform towards the 2022 general election, with party leader Mahendra Chaudhry declaring “Labour is on the move again” at their annual delegates’ conference held in Lautoka on Saturday.

He said, “in the next two years, our message and our voice must reach every home”.

Mr Chaudhry claimed there were four areas that Fijians needed to fight for.

“We don’t have justice, we don’t have peace, we don’t have freedom and we don’t have democracy,” he said.

“You know very well how free you are. Our right to free speech, our right to freedom of assembly and association have all been taken away or compromised seriously.”

He said, “we must get our freedom back”.

“If we can’t fight for our freedom, life is not worth living. We can’t live as subjugated people.”
