CPR performed for hour on male, transported to hospital
Strongsville Police Department

Sept. 10 – A male had been “flopping” at a Lanier Avenue residence for about one hour. A female was attempting CPR. The caller advised the male’s lips were blue. The subject, who had a warrant out of the Elyria Police Department, was transported to a hospital. The female stated she did not know what the male took. The subject’s mother was at the house and stated her son had been clean for some time.

Strongsville Police Department

Sept. 10 – A male hunter who lives on Drake Road complained that two neighbors who live on Prospect Road were hitting deer with airsoft guns, BB guns and sticks to keep the animals and geese from his property. The male was advised to call police if he witnessed this again.

Sept. 10 – A black Kia involved in a theft in the city of Parma was at a mall parking lot. The vehicle got onto northbound Interstate 71 around 5:30 p.m. The vehicle approached Bagley Road at 110 miles per hour. The pursuit was called off when the vehicle hit I-480.

Sept. 10 – A female reported two of her pornographic DVDs were missing from her Cambridge Oval residence. This was an apparent psychological situation.

Sept. 9 – A female was crossing Whitney Road in a wheelchair when she was struck by a gray Kia that left the scene. She was not injured, however, her wheelchair was damaged. An officer spoke to a witness, who got a license plate number. Contact was made with the owner of the vehicle. Two citations were issued.

Sept. 9 – Tires were slashed on a 2013 Volkswagen Jetta in a Royalton Road parking lot. The vehicle’s owner is an employee of a store there.

Sept. 9 – A caller advised there was a male exposing himself at a Royalton Road bar. A citation was issued for disorderly conduct. The subject’s wife picked him up. The male was advised not to return to the bar.

Sept. 8 – A caller stated there was a male pounding on the door of his Pearl Road motel door. The complainant did not know who the male was, but knew the subject was associated with a female hooker that lived in another room at the motel. The complainant and hooker lived together at one time in Brook Park. The male subject told the complainant he owed the hooker $200. The male was gone upon an officer’s arrival. The officer spoke with the motel clerk who stated she did not see anyone outside the motel.

Sept. 8 – A raccoon knocked over a shelf in an Atlantic Road garage. The female resident needed to get her car out, but was afraid to go inside. The female stated she was outside clucking like a chicken, but the raccoon would not exit. An officer pulled the car out of the garage and set bait.

Sept. 7 – An Inglewood Court resident was having trees removed and a crane was parked in a complainant’s yard. The complainant was OK with the crane on his property as long as there is reassurance that any damages would be repaired. The neighbor would comply with the request.

Sept. 7 – A male customer at a Royalton Road establishment attempted to spray a beer on a bar maid. The male left the premises.

Sept. 6 – An officer cited a driver for improper backing out of the driveway at Misty Lake Drive. During the stop, the officer saw a beer can in plain sight and also gave a warning for possession of alcohol.

Sept. 6 – A Drake Road male stated someone pulled a gun on him in a road rage situation and followed him to his house. The complainant told the subject to put the gun away to which he replied, “I’ve got another on in my pants.” An officer could not locate the vehicle.

Sept. 4 – An Overland Park female stated she had damage to her home. The woman thought it was caused by a bullet. What the complainant felt was a bullet hole appeared to be caused by a burrowing insect.

Sept. 2 – A male juvenile was driving recklessly in a mall parking lot. People yelled at him to slow down and he yelled back threatening to shoot them. An officer spoke to the juvenile’s mother, who stated she would take care of the situation.

Sept. 1 – A Benbow Road resident had a basketball hoop installed in his driveway. A male was out with a flatbed removing the hoop because the homeowner was 80 percent in arrears. This is a civil matter.

Sept. 1 – A Creek Bend Court woman was having an issue with her daughter becoming violent. The daughter kicked in a door and broke a lamp last weekend. The complainant came home today to find the grandmother’s antiques packed up. She was afraid her daughter might take them.

North Royalton Police

Sept. 4 – A cashier at a Wallings Road store was the victim of a “quick change” theft around 3 p.m., where two black males paid for a candy bar with a $50 bill and then made several other small transactions. The register came up $150 short.
