Hospice of the Western Reserve (inclusive of Hospice of Medina) is in need of additional pet therapy dogs and their handlers to join their volunteer team to visit chronically and terminally ill patients in a variety of settings throughout northern Ohio.
Requirements for dogs are: therapy dog certification, therapy dog insurance and a current shot record. Requirements for individuals: criminal background check, two-step TB test and 16 hours of volunteer education.

DTA reminder
In an effort to improve city services, CityLink is transitioning to all digital signals.
This update will provide more channels, better sound and picture quality and faster and more reliable Internet.
As a result, channels 2-78 will soon be provided in a digital format which will require those with older analog TVs to have a digital adapter.
If you are a CityLink cable customer and currently have a CityLink set-top (cable box, DVR, TiVo), then no action is required for you to receive all the new digital channels through your set-top. If you have an older (non-flat screen) analog TV, you will need a DTA for that TV.
Each DTA will rent for just $1.99 a month. In the future, if you happen to purchase a new HDTV set with a digital cable tuner and no longer need the DTA, you can simply return it to the customer service center at City Hall and you will no longer be billed.
If you have an HDTV set with a digital cable tuner, you will only need to auto-program your set to receive the new digital signals on April 3.
If you are unsure of whether your HDTV has the correct digital cable tuner, simply auto-program your set and try tuning to channels 83.2, 83.3, 83.4, etc.
If you receive those channels, then you will not need a DTA on that TV. If you do not receive those channels, you will need a DTA on that TV. You can order your DTAs online now at http://dta.wadsworthcitylink.com. It will be delivered to your home with a quick guide for easy installation.
