SCOUTING AWARDS
Eagle Scout is the highest rank in the Boy Scouts of America and the Gold Award is the highest honor given to the Girl Scouts of the United States. Both of these awards require scouts to complete community service projects. These youths have earned the honor.

Project: Fatema and her volunteers designed and presented 13 different activities to the Coppell Senior Community Center.
Carley Nelson

Parents: Corey and Jodi Nelson
Project: Carley and her volunteers created 100 fleece¬tie blankets with handwritten notes of encouragement, all donated to Hope’s Door New Beginnings Center.
Ruth Nichols

School: Townview Science and Engineering Magnet
Parents: Dwight Nicols and Laure Seipp
Project: Ruth created a nonprofit that uses graphic novels and films to teach STEM topics.
James Davidson
Troop: 1020 School: Home School
Parents: Chris and Mimi Davidson of Royse City
Project: James led four teams of scouts that installed 75 blue safety fire hydrant reflectors for the city of Sachse.
Graham Holmes
Troop: 406
School: Leadership Prep School
Parent: Suzan Holmes of Frisco
Project: Graham coordinated the removal of a boardwalk at Leadership Prep School and built a temporary structure to house the wood.
Ethan Pfahning

School: Rockwall Heath High School
Parents: Brian and Kim Pfahning of Plano
Project: Ethan assisted with building stairs for a historical home restoration project for the Rockwall Historical Society.
