I took a glance at the headline on Sunday’s front page regarding Hillary Clinton, which stated that her campaign was “staggered’’ by the new e-mail dust-up, and found it ridiculous (“Clinton has cleared hurdles, but staggered by the latest’’). Is there any chance that the media can ratchet these judgments and observations down a bit?
Yes, the Clinton campaign may have been caught off guard, and been surprised, but I doubt that “staggered’’ would be anywhere near the correct description. Who is staggered is the voting public. We are tired to death of this campaign, and are feeling bullied by the constant stream of vulgarity, cruelty, bragging, and general sense of instability we have been exposed to these past months.
Vote early, vote for Clinton, and let’s get on with daily living and creating a world that our children and grandchildren may continue to inhabit.
