Spring house hunt

We should get a good measure of how the spring real estate market is doing Tuesday morning. The US Commerce Department is scheduled to release figures on sales of new homes across the country, while in Massachusetts the Warren Group releases its monthly report for April 2016. If the past few months are any indication locally, the real estate market is expected to remain brisk, with both sales of homes and condos up, as well as prices, too.

Making networking work

The Consultants Network is sponsoring a networking skills workshop. Aimed at engineers, attendees will learn strategies to maximize the time they time spend networking and increase the visibility of their businesses. The Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a networking event for its small- to medium-size member companies. Innovation across the Commonwealth

At an event organized by the North Shore Technology Council, Katie Stebbins, assistant secretary for technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship for Massachusetts, will discuss how to encourage entrepreneurship outside of Boston by ensuring communities are well-positioned to benefit from the state’s booming high-tech sectors.
