Full Frontal With Samantha Bee Monday at 10:30 p.m., TBS

President Obama has been on the campaign trail lately, trying to get out the vote for Hillary Clinton. We recently saw him doing his expert deadpan thing with Stephen Colbert, and reading mean tweets on “Jimmy Kimmel Live.’’

On Monday night, Obama will be on “Full Frontal With Samantha Bee.’’ Or, as the TBS press release puts it, “Samantha Bee Interviews Her First Male President, Barack Obama,’’ since Bee has consistently taken on sexism and the male-dominated Beltway.

And because we often inappropriately mention female politician’s attire, TBS’s release also notes what Obama is wearing for his appearance — “a flattering wool suit paired with sensible leather flats.’’

At this point, seeing a sitting president on a talk show isn’t particularly newsworthy. But this appearance is of interest because it’s Bee’s first go-round with someone in the top office. She has cultivated a stinging, arch persona on her series, as she did on “The Daily Show,’’ which is part of what makes watching her feel cathartic. She does not suffer foolishness without joyously throwing shade all over it.

Will she pull out the snark with Obama, or will she lose the attitude and do a more straight-ahead interview? Will she play a Halloween game, or will she ask him real questions about his legacy, Clinton, and other relevant topics?

And most importantly, what will she wear?
