The senior righthander fired 14 scoreless innings, recording a win and a save, in a 4-1 week for the University of New England softball team. She is 4-1 with a 1.60 earned run average for the 15-5 Nor’Easters.

The Division 3 state wrestling champion at 170 pounds while compiling a 44-0 record, the Dedham High senior was tabbed the Massachusetts Public High School Wrestler of the Year by the National Wrestling Hall of Fame.

MANSFIELD

A senior midfielder on the Emmanuel College women’s lacrosse team, she netted a school-record nine goals in a 21-9 win over Norwich. She leads the Saints (6-2) with 33 goals in eight games after a 63-goal campaign as a junior.
