Wet sea salt, unwashed, unrefined, and additive-free, adds a clean, balanced flavor to food. But because its moisture can clog or corrode ordinary pepper mills, wet salt needs a mill specifically designed for the job. Peugeot, a French company known for well-constructed, high-quality salt and pepper mills, has a new version ($37.50) for wet salt. Made with a ceramic mechanism that prevents corrosion, the mill is equipped with paddles that mix the salt and keep it moving. The mill is comfortable to hold and grinds smoothly. The top unscrews and lifts off easily when it’s time to add more salt; the grind can be adjusted from fine powder to coarse. Available at Eurostoves, 45 Enon St., Beverly, 978-232-0007; Kitchen Outfitters, Acton Woods Plaza, 342 Great Road, Acton, 978-263-1955; and TAGS Hardware, Porter Square Shopping Center, 29 White St., Cambridge, 617-868-7711.
