From the start, Donald Trump has been short on ideas and long on attitude. Now, even the attitude is being stripped away and revealed for the scam that it is.

As reporters dig into his history, his trademark business success owes too much to gaming the system. This “law and order’’ candidate has no regard for law, and seems to want to rule by his whim. His sham of fake patriotism has been revealed. Calling on Russia to hack Hillary Clinton’s e-mail is despicable. And now, even decency is gone. Insulting and belittling the family of slain Army Captain Humayun Khan is beyond despicable. It is indecent and inhuman.

Trump is being stripped naked. All that’s left is narcissism and an ego big enough to swallow whole what’s left of the Republican Party. There’s just the bare huckster, barking at the crowd. Poor Mike Pence must wonder what he’s gotten himself into.
