‘Better Business through Cooperation’

The Mayor’s Office of Economic Development is hosting a workshop for small business owners looking for ways to lowers costs, secure investments for growth, and retain workers. Attendees will learn how cooperative businesses function in the United States and how to transition a business into a co-op. The Massachusetts district office of the US Small Business Administration is hosting an info session on the 8(a) Business Development Program, a business assistance program for small businesses. Participants will learn about certification requirements, the application process, and technical assistance.
