Italians detained in killings are freed
BRATISLAVA — Police in Slovakia have released seven Italians who were detained as suspects in the slayings of an investigative journalist and his girlfriend. The seven men were taken into custody Thursday when police raided houses allegedly linked to members of an Italian crime syndicate. Journalist Jan Kuciak was working on a story about the influence of the Italian mafia in Slovakia. (AP)

KUALA LUMPUR — A Malaysian official said Saturday that the search for Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 by a US company will probably end in June, as families of passengers marked the fourth anniversary of the plane’s disappearance. Ocean Infinity of Houston had agreed to resume the hunt for the plane in January, a year after the official search was called off by Malaysia, Australia, and China. (AP)
