Massachusetts jobless rate

The Massachusetts unemployment rate for March will be released Thursday. The Commonwealth’s jobless rate fell to 4.5 percent in February from 4.7 percent the month before.

US mortgage rates

New numbers for the average 30-year, fixed-rate mortgage will be released Thursday. Last week, Freddie Mac reported the average 30-year, fixed-rate mortgage fell to 3.59 percent, from 3.71 percent the week before.

The Boston Bar Association has organized an event for lawyers on how to identify problematic clients. Attendees will learn to look out for red flags when screening a new client, and ways to protect themselves from problem clients.
