Newton officials are holding a public hearing Monday on a proposal to allow food trucks at an office park on Wells Avenue in the N2 Innovation District. The measure is a “key priority for the property owners there, and the city’s economic development program,’’ according to a memo from the Planning Department. The hearing is set for 7:45 p.m. in Newton City Hall.

Dedham has a lot on its plate when Town Meeting begins on Monday. Members will be asked to authorize spending up to $45 million to build a new public safety building on the site of the current town hall. They’ll also vote on a proposal to create a Human Rights Commission and outlaw recreational marijuana businesses in town.

Easton’s Town Meeting, which also takes place Monday, will consider whether to spend $1 million for a feasibility study to renovate or replace Center Elementary School.
