Bugs Bunny Film Festival

What’s up doc? If nothing is up except the number of hours your kids spend on their phones, you may want to head over to the Brattle Theatre for the Bugs Bunny marathon. What’s that? You say your kids are too young to know Bugs and the gang? Well, this is a perfect opportunity for some animated education.

Family Science Days

It’s a junior scientist’s dream come true. At the Hynes this weekend, there will be hands-on demos of cool experiments, talks by experts, and tons of interactive exhibits. If you’ve been struggling to answer your child’s questions about their science homework, here’s your chance to study up — while letting the kids have a blast.

Drumlin Farm Vacation Week

Have you ever threatened to send your kid to work on a farm if they don’t behave? If so, you’re in luck, because this series of events allows you to do just that, except it will actually be enjoyable for the young ones. They’ll get to interact with animals, make treats, and even lend a hand with some farm chores.

Kids Week 2017 in Lowell

Paul Revere’s Bell B-Day

Besides yelling “The British are coming! The British are coming!’’ Paul Revere cast bells, which may not seem that cool, but being up close and personal with a bell that’s 201 years old and made by Revere himself is actually pretty exciting. Go on a tour during vacation week and you may just receive a special birthday cupcake.

Winter Party at Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum

Agassiz Baldwin Hip Hop Festival

“Star Wars’’ Party

The zoo might feel like a bit of a strange choice given the temperatures, but don’t be fooled. Franklin Park Zoo can be a refuge from the chilly outdoors if you visit its rainforest, an enclosed space kept at a cozy 72 degrees that boasts over 50 species of exotic animals.
