■ Correction: Because of a reporting error, a review in Sunday’s Books section, which is printed in advance, of “Bellevue: Three Centuries of Medicine and Mayhem at America’s Most Storied Hospital’’ by David Oshinsky incorrectly stated the ownership of laboratory animals killed by flooding connected to Hurricane Sandy in 2012. The animals were the property of New York University, which is affiliated with Bellevue. The Globe regrets the error.
