Babs is coming back to Boston. Singer Barbra Streisand has a new album coming out — “Encore: Movie Partners Sing Broadway’’ — and a tour which includes a date at TD Garden. The brief, nine-city jaunt starts in Los Angeles Aug. 2 and pulls into Boston Aug. 16. Little is known about the new LP — her 35th — other than it includes a lot of well-known show tunes. The identities of her duet partners have not been announced.
