A ‘falsehood’ is also known as a lie
Re: “Trump nearing 2,000 falsehoods in first year’’ (Nation, Jan. 3): Can we stop using words like “falsehoods’’ to describe Donald Trump’s statements? Call them what they are: lies. The words that he tweets and speaks are entertainment, not proclamations. If he can draw more attention to himself with an outrageous whopper, he will say it. His words have nothing to do with truth. They are the product of a six-year-old mind shouting, “Look at me! Look at me!’’
