Alere Inc., Boston Scientific Corp., BlackRock Capital Investment Corp., Comcast Corp., Facebook Inc., Hologic Inc., Santander Consumer USA Holdings Inc., State Street Corp., and Vertex Pharmaceuticals Inc. are expected to release earnings reports for the fiscal quarter that ended in March.

Research on the North Shore
The North Shore Technology council is having a networking event and panel discussion on new student research. A panel of six students from Endicott College will present their research in the fields of tech and biotech to a panel of experts, including Martha C. Farmer, the president, founder, and chief executive of North Shore InnoVentures, a nonprofit business incubator in Beverly. At an annual dinner organized by the Cape Cod Technology Council, angel investor and software industry veteran John Landry will give a presentation on the future of tech and innovation.
