The town of Rockland says it is receiving $10,000 from the producers of “Patriots Day’’ for its participation in the film about the Boston Marathon bombings. A scene re-creating the hunt in Watertown for Dzhokhar and Tamerlan Tsarnaev after the bombings will take place at SouthField, the former naval air station that occupies land in Abington, Rockland, and Weymouth, and Rockland is providing fire, police and building department resources for the scene. Town Administrator Allan R. Chiocca said the faux Watertown neighbohood is the length of a football field, with sidewalks, fire hydrants, and the facades of homes. “I was impressed,’’ he said. Chiocca praised the film studio and crews that have been working on the production. He also joked that he could stand in as Mark Wahlberg’s body double. Alas, no one’s taken him up on his offer.
