MEDINA – Medina County K-9 Rocky holds down the groundhog on Groundhog Day, Feb. 2, with hopes of preventing it from seeing its shadow, thus extending winter six weeks. Unfortunately, the groundhog must have escaped as it was reported the animal did, indeed, see his shadow that day.
