Bitter over Nader’s spoiler role in 2000
I am astounded that the Globe chose to give Ralph Nader a forum for his views on a third party (“Break up the two-party tyranny’’).
Nader, in my view, has the blood of thousands on his hands from his own third-party attempt in 2000 — an effort that directly resulted in the election of George W. Bush and the war of choice that followed.
There is deep irony in offering Nader a platform to espouse his position. The manifest catastophe that resulted from his misguided run stands as an instructive and tragic rebuke to the validity of his claim.
