Kristen and Larry Ledman of Wadsworth announce the engagement of their daughter, Abigail Joy, to John Cameron Barr III of Columbus. He is the son of Patti and John Barr of Delaware.

The future bride lives in Columbus and works as an attorney for the Ohio Department of Administrative Services. Her fiancé is an IT technical specialist for Ohio Health Group.

The couple is planning a Sept. 30, 2017, ceremony at Wadsworth United Methodist Church.
