United Way of Greater Plymouth County recently received a $124,000 donation from HarborOne Bank. The Brockton-based nonprofit has consistently received donations and support from HarborOne Bank, said United Way’s president and chief executive, Dennis Carman. “We wouldn’t be doing our job at United Way if we didn’t say thank you for their generosity,’’ he said. The nonprofit will use the money to fund initiatives pitched by local organizations every year.

Randolph Community Middle School has unveiled a new art studio, with help from the Boston Celtics. The studio features iPads, iMacs, art software, and a printer donated by the Celtics and Rhode Island-based jewel store Alex and Ani’s Charity by Design program, said Judy A. Littlejohn, executive assistant to the superintendent of schools. It was unveiled by Celtic Jaylen Brown, Celtic dancers, former Celtic Leon Powe, and Nicki Maher of Charity by Design. The studio is open to the school’s students and teachers. “We hope that it will be a part of the students’ regular curriculum, and that they will be able to expand their art skills and gain skills,’’ Littlejohn said.

A fashion company based in south Easton made it to this year’s Grammy Awards. BeBibs had several examples of its protective clothing line, which is designed for spills and drips, featured in bags given to presenters and performers at the awards ceremony on Feb. 12.. Rebecca Turley, the company’s founder, said that she was contacted by Grammy representatives following a feature on NBC’s “The Today Show’’ and asked whether she would like her company’s product line included in the bags. “It is such a good opportunity, ’’ she said.
