Mother, May I Sleep with Danger? 8 p.m., Lifetime

The Tori Spelling classic gets a new twist in this James Franco-produced movie. This time, Spelling plays the mother, whose daughter introduces the family to her new female love interest, who happens to be a vampire. Franco makes a few short appearances in the movie, which was directed by Melanie Aitkenhead, who is also directing the adaptation of Franco’s 2013 novel “Actors Anonymous.’’

Jane Austen marathon 8 p.m., TCM

This three-fer begins at 8 with the 1940 version of “Pride and Prejudice,’’ featuring Laurence Olivier as a perfect Darcy. “Persuasion,’’ at 10:15 p.m., is a lovely adaptation of the second-chance novel, featuring Ciaran Hinds and Amanda Root. And at 12:15 a.m., TCM is airing Emma Thompson’s sunny adaptation of “Sense and Sensibility,’’ costarring Kate Winslet.

The Convenient Groom 9 p.m., Hallmark

Her boyfriend dumps her, so her childhood pal poses as her fiancé.

The American West 10 p.m., AMC

Jesse James targets the railroads.

OJ: Made in America 9 p.m., ESPN

The five-part documentary concludes.
