Letters to Cleo’s Boston show sells out

Justine Ungaro + Liz Linder
Well, that didn’t take long. No sooner did tickets go on sale for Letters to Cleo’s show at the Paradise Nov. 19 than they were all gone. Not too shabby for a band that hadn’t written or recorded any new music for close to 20 years. But when the Boston-bred alt-rockers return to the stage this fall, (from left) singer Kay Hanley, drummer Stacy Jones, and guitarists Michael Eisenstein and Greg McKenna, will be playing songs from a new EP that’s available now for pre-order via Pledge Music. (The EP will be released Sept. 30.) The show at the Paradise concludes a five-date tour that includes stops in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York.
