PLAYER POS. SCHOOL HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME ROUND
Jalen Ramsey* CB Florida State 6-1 209 4.41 1
Ramsey was a candidate for the No. 1 pick and could go as high as No. 3. Also played safety in college, but has the size, athleticism, and work ethic to be an elite cornerback.
Vernon Hargreaves* CB Florida 5-10 204 4.50 1
Great athlete with a 39-inch vertical and good instincts, Hargreaves will be an immediate NFL starter. He will be the second cornerback off the board and likely go in the teens.
William Jackson CB Houston 6-0 189 4.37 1-2
Scouts are mixed on Jackson due to his lack of physicality, but he has good size, blazing speed, and a nose for the football, making him a candidate for the back end of the first round.
Eli Apple* CB Ohio State 6-1 199 4.40 1-2
Redshirt sophomore is a bit of a project, but has the potential to develop into a solid starting cornerback who can play in a press-man scheme.
Vonn Bell* S Ohio State 5-11 199 4.66 1-2
An athletic, well-rounded defender who excels in run defense and can play nickel cornerback or free safety, finishing 2015 with nine passes broken up and two interceptions.
Kendall Fuller* CB Virginia Tech 5-11 187 4.48 1-2
Missed most of last season with a torn meniscus and has lingering concerns, but could get drafted at the end of the first round based on his excellent 2014 season.
Keanu Neal* S Florida 6-0 211 4.62 1-2
A big-bodied, aggressive safety who can likely put on weight and play in the box as an extra run stopper. Needs to work on his coverage skills, and his draft grade is all over the board.
Mackensie Alexander* CB Clemson 5-10 190 4.47 2-3
A bit undersized for the NFL, and working through an offseason hamstring injury, Alexander still has great speed and instincts to be a nickel or possibly a No. 2 corner in the NFL.
Su’a Cravens* S Southern Cal 6-1 226 4.69 2-3
Linebacker/safety hybrids are all the rage in today’s NFL, and Cravens could be a great fit for a team looking for a physical run defender who can also cover a tight end and blitz the quarterback.
Zack Sanchez* CB Oklahoma 5-11 185 4.54 2-3
Another undersized cornerback who likely will fit in as a nickel CB. Sanchez is a ballhawk with 13 interceptions the last two years, but needs a year or two to develop coverage skills.
Best of the rest: CB Xavien Howard*, Baylor (6-0, 200, 4.60, 2-3); S Darian Thompson, Boise State (6-2, 208, 4.70, 2-3); S T.J. Green*, Clemson (6-2, 205, 4.66, 2-3); CB Artie Burns, Miami (6-0, 193, 4.53, 2-3); S Karl Joseph, West Virginia (5-10, 205, 4.58, 2-3); CB Deiondre’ Hall, Northern Iowa (6-2, 199, 4.68, 3-4); CB James Bradberry, Samford (6-0, 211, 4.46, 3-4); S Jeremy Cash, Duke (6-0, 212, 4.66, 3-4); CB Eric Murray, Minnesota (5-11, 199, 4.49, 3-4); CB/S Sean Davis, Maryland (6-1, 201, 4.46, 3-4); S Tyvis Powell*, Ohio State (6-3, 211, 4.46, 3-4).
