The ‘crime’ here is how immigration agents treated this family

Re “Detained and bewildered’’ (Page A1, March 12): After reading about the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents who arrested and detained a mother of two infants, a woman whose only “crime’’ was to have been brought to this country illegally by her parents when she was 3 years old, I find myself wondering how ICE agents can sleep at night, how they can face themselves in the morning, how they can hug their own children without thinking of the children whose parents they snatch away.
