Author Chuck Palahniuk(inset) will be coming to town to promote his graphic novel, “Fight Club 2,’’ the long-awaited sequel to his 1996 bestseller that became a movie starring Edward Norton, Brad Pitt, and Helena Bonham Carter. The hardcover book contains all 10 issues of the “Fight Club 2’’ comic series and will be released by Dark Horse Comics on June 28. Palahniuk will be signing copies at Brookline Booksmith on July 17. FYI: he won’t be reading or performing — it’s a signing only — and tickets must be purchased to attend. The cost of admission ($29.95) includes a copy of “Fight Club 2.’’ Palahniuk is willing to pose for photos and sign two other items (memorabilia or books). But not more than two. So bust out your favorite Fight Club gear, slip on your Tyler Durden sunglasses, and get ready to wait patiently. The signing starts at 2 p.m. and the line will form at noon.
