Ginobili returns as Spurs handle Kings

Kawhi Leonard had 25 points and Manu Ginobili added 22 in his return from a gruesome injury that cost him 12 games, leading shorthanded San Antonio to a 104-94 victory over the Sacramento Kings on Saturday night as the Spurs improved to 30-0 at home.

The Spurs won their eighth straight despite the absence of starters LaMarcus Aldridge, Tim Duncan, and Danny Green. Ginobili showed no physical or psychological effects from testicle surgery on Feb. 5.

New Orleans might have lost guard Eric Gordon for the rest of the season after he again fractured his right ring finger — just eight days after returning from the same injury.

Knicks 102, Pistons 81 — Carmelo Anthony had 24 points to lead host New York over Detroit. The Knicks were without the injured Kristaps Porzingis, who has a bruised lower left leg,
