Nominations are open for Top Places to Work

Do you love your job?

OK, do you at least like it?

If so, chances are the organization you work for has a lot to do with it.

So tell us about it already.

Nominations are open for The Boston Globe’s annual Top Places to Work awards, and any organization with 50 or more employees in Massachusetts is eligible, including nonprofits and government agencies. Companies will be surveyed from April through June by the Globe’s research partner Energage, formerly WorkplaceDynamics, which conducts Top Workplaces surveys for more than 40 newspapers around the country.

Last year, Energage invited 2,348 Massachusetts companies to participate. In the end, more than 75,000 employees were surveyed, and 125 companies were recognized.

The process is simple. Employees evaluate their workplaces using an anonymous 24-question survey, and Energage compiles the results. Among the questions that carry the most weight: “This company enables me to work at my full potential,’’ and “My job makes me feel like I am part of something meaningful.’’

Maybe not so easy after all.

In the fall, winners will be announced in four size categories, and featured in a special edition of the Globe Magazine.

The deadline to nominate your company is May 18. Go to bostonglobe.com/nominate or call 617-674-2286.
